SHIPPING & LIVE ARRIVAL GUARANTEE

At DSS Aquatics, we take great care in packaging and shipping our fish and aquatic life to ensure they arrive healthy and in excellent condition.

Shipping Information

• All livestock orders are carefully packed using industry-standard methods to maintain water quality and temperature stability.
• Livestock orders are shipped using expedited 2–3 day shipping services whenever possible to reduce transit time and minimize stress on the fish.
• A flat-rate shipping charge of $39.99 applies to livestock orders unless otherwise stated.
• Shipping days may vary depending on weather conditions and livestock safety.
• DSS Aquatics reserves the right to delay shipment if weather conditions are deemed unsafe for livestock transit.

Live Arrival Guarantee (DOA Policy)

We guarantee that all livestock will arrive alive and in good condition when the following conditions are met:

• The first delivery attempt must be accepted.
• Someone must be available to receive the package upon delivery.
• The package must not be left outside for an extended period of time.

In the rare event of a DOA (Dead on Arrival), the following requirements must be met:

1. Contact DSS Aquatics within 1 hour of the recorded delivery time.

2. Provide clear photos of the livestock in the original unopened bag.

3. Provide a photo of the shipping label.

4. Claims submitted after the 1-hour reporting period may be denied.

Failure to follow these requirements may void the Live Arrival Guarantee.

Refunds, Replacements & Store Credit

• Approved DOA claims may be eligible for a replacement, store credit, or refund at DSS Aquatics’ discretion.
• Shipping charges are non-refundable.
• We are not responsible for carrier delays, missed deliveries, weather-related disruptions, or incorrect shipping information provided by the customer.

Returns

• Due to the nature of live animals, all livestock sales are final.
• No returns are accepted on live fish, shrimp, snails, or other aquatic livestock.

Weather & Shipping Delays

• DSS Aquatics reserves the right to delay shipment due to extreme weather conditions to protect livestock health and safety.
• Customers will be notified if shipment delays occur.
